Here we have a very curious concertina.
At first it looks rather strange, 9 fold bellows, thick metal ends...
On deeper investigation you find Lachenal mechanism, reed pans, complete with serial number, that matches on the inside of the frames...
SO what we have here is a Lachenal 20 key that has had new ends and rather agricultural bellows added.
Having said that it actually plays rather well! The reeds are steel, bright and responsive, the bellows gives you a lot of air and the compression is good.
It isn't going to win any beauty awards. But if you can get past that then you have rather a playable 20 key.
